A worker can ask for more money when they start doing more work or when their work brings more profit to the company. This is fair because they are contributing more. Also, if a boss wants to keep a good employee, they will pay them fairly.

A worker can ask for more money if they have invested in their professional development, mastered new complex skills, or obtained certifications that directly benefit their role and the company. New skills enhance the employee's qualifications, enabling them to perform more complex tasks and bring additional value to the company. They now possess knowledge and skills that may have previously been missing from the team or required external resources.

  3. A worker can ask for more money when prices in the country go up because of inflation. This is a good reason because everyday things like food and rent become more expensive. The worker’s salary should match the cost of living. Asking for a raise helps them maintain the same standard of life. It’s a practical and reasonable request.

Another situation where a worker can ask for a raise is when they have taken on significant new responsibilities. For example, if a worker has started managing a team or training new colleagues without a change in their salary, it is a perfect time to request more money. This is a strong reason because the worker is already performing duties of a higher-level position and proving their capability. The employer is already benefiting from their expanded role. Asking for a fair compensation in this case is logical, as it aligns the worker's pay with their actual work and contributions.
