  1. 1) I think this quote means that London is life. London has everything that life has to offer. It is so diverse that even London residents can always find new and interesting places in their capital.

    2) I would like to visit London to walk through the old Royal castles, see the most famous London sights, such as Big Ben, Hyde Park, the tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral and many others. I would like to go to an amusement Park and ride in a booth of the London eye. I've heard that you can see the farthest corners of London from the Ferris wheel. In addition, I would like to study English traditions.I'm very interested in seeing the coronation at Westminster Abbey. I wouldn't mind visiting the Royal Observatory in Greenwich to stand on the famous Prime Meridian. And of course, it is worth visiting London to meet new people and improve your English.

  2. 1. I think that Dr. Samuel Johnson meant that in London there is everything that is necessary for a good person's life. In London there are many museums, galleries, parks, theaters, historical and cultural monuments that describe life. And if a person is tired of all this, then he is tired of life. That is, London is life.

    2. Of course, I would like to visit London, see all the sights, museums, galleries, learn about the life and traditions of the British, talk with local residents, enjoy all the beauties of this city and remember this forever. But if I had to choose between London and Dubai, I would choose Dubai.

  3. 1)I think this quote can be interpreted as saying that the life of the average Londoner, in particular the British, will be completely different if feelings for this beautiful city are lost. London is an absolutely wonderful city with its atmosphere, with its rhythm of life, with its history, and in my opinion, if your sense of self does not fit into this atmosphere, if you no longer "feel" London, you think you "do not live". That's how I understand the meaning of this quote.

2)I would really like to visit London. Of course, I would like to visit all the most famous sights, go to museums, for example, Madame Tussauds wax museum, I would really like to see them myself, to fulfill, so to speak, my little childhood dream. In addition, I would like to visit several conceptual places, restaurants, unfortunately, I will not be able to name them now, but if I really fly to London now, I would do anything to remember their names and the streets where they are :). I would also go to a music album and vinyl record store and be sure to buy some of my favorite albums in both formats. Finally, I would be walking around these London streets endlessly, enjoying the views, recharging the atmosphere and taking a million pictures. I think it would be my perfect journey.

    1) I absolutely agree with the statement of Dr Samuel Johnson. He wanted to show the diversity of life in London and that it was impossible to get tired of him , because here sre some of the most beautiful places , the most numerous attractions , parks , squares and much more. A person , looking at one thing , forgets the other. Indeed , there is something to see and enjoy.

    2) I would like to go to London. First pf all , I would look at all the beautiful places and attractions as Tower Bridge , London Eye Ferris Wheel , Buckingham Palace , Palace of Westminister , Big Ben, the British museum , Royal Theater Covent Garden, Hyde Park , especially Wembley Stadium since I am a fan of English football , a telephone booth and a double decker. I want to emphasize that I was to go there with me family so they also see the beauty of this wonderful city and I would a great time there and of course I would tighten my English. Besides all this , I would like to visit the London College of Economics and Political Science and I would like to analyze the quality and style of education there and at our university.

1)The author of this quote wanted to say that London is a very beautiful and diverse city. There is something to see in London. Many attractions. Hundreds of historical buildings, museums, galleries. You can always find interesting and amazing places in London

2)I would love to go to London. Explore the whole city, take a walk in the parks. Visit beautiful places. I would like to see all the sights of the city. First of all, Big Ben. Also, the London Eye ferris wheel is one of the city’s newest attractions, however, it has already managed to fall in love with residents and tourists. Buckingham Palace to find out how monarchs live. My dream is to ride a double-decker bus with the breeze. It also allows you to quickly and easily explore the city. Go into the telephone box, which we do not have, and inspect it. More to see one of the iconic sights of the city - Tower Bridge. It offers a wonderful view of London and the River Thames.

    1) The doctor believes that if a person is tired of London, there is nothing else to surprise them with. He believes that London is the most beautiful city on the planet. I do not agree with him, a person can travel to different cities and find something unusual in each city.
    2) Of course I want to go to London. But I don't want to live in London, I want to relax there. I want to walk through the famous and beautiful places of this city. I would like to visit Tower Bridge, Admiralty Arch, Buckingham Palace.London is certainly a very beautiful and ancient city, but most of all I love to relax in nature, it can be mountains, woods, or a river.

1)I think he spoke like that because London is famous for its sights. This city is able to satisfy even the most demanding tourist. The British are famous for their great sense of music and style and the most fashionable shops. London is a history, architecture and sights that never ceases to amaze with its diversity.

2)Yes, I would like to go to London. first of all, I would visit the famous London Eye. Its height is 135 meters.
it's my dream to ride it. from it you can see all of London at a glance.
Secondly,to see the Big Ben I’ve heard about. However, you cannot get inside if you aren’t an Englishman. No tourists allowed but you can just take a picture next.
Another famous place is London National Gallery. The gallery has more than 2000 works of world-known artists of 13-20 centuries. What is interesting, is that the gallery is free for everyone. London is famous for its parks. The most well-known is the Hyde Park. It is a traditional place of festivals and celebrations. Another attraction that I would definitely visit is The Houses of Parliament. Nowadays anyone can visit the Houses of Parliament and even attend the session. You have to register by phone and go through special registration procedure. And of course The Thames. Popular tourist activities are river excursions and water-bus or boat trips. Every year one can watch here the boat race between Oxford and Cambridge universities.

    1)
I really like this quote . Because London is one of the best and most interesting cities in the world . And the author wanted to bring to the reader that in London there is everything that a human soul can desire . And when a person gets enough of everything in this life and he gets bored, tired in London, it's forever . He will be bored and tired for the rest of his life .

    2)
Yeaaaah , and very much want .
This is the first country I will visit abroad . The fact is that I should have visited it when I was 12 years old , but I did not have a passport and there were problems with this and my parents decided not to send me .
First of all, I want to take a picture with BIG BEN in the background . After that, I would like to ride the London eye, even though I am terribly afraid of heights . Then I really wanted to lie on the lawn of Hyde Park, and meet the Queen of great Britain . Finally, I wanted to visit the British Museum, as I am interested in their history, ROBIN HOOD, BEN Hur, World War I ,World War II.

No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford. 12. 1. Of course, I believe that this quote is true and deserves a lot of attention, because London is a city that keeps a great history
Steeped in centuries of history, London has everything: amazing art galleries, museums, shops, some of the world's most iconic landmarks, brands, nightlife, and entertainment, including West End theaters. Therefore, if a person gets bored with a city where there is everything for a comfortable life, then he can hardly find something more interesting.

2.One of my greatest desires in life is to travel to different countries, and of course England is on the list of countries that I would like to visit first. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of London, see all the famous sights with your own eyes, including Big Ben, The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Madame Tussauds Museum and many others. 13. Я 1)I suppose, that Samuel Johnson meant that London is a place where everyone can find anything he/she wants for really good and interesting life. It's a place, where traditional culture and modern life are deeply intertwined and it gives London original charm. London is so different! So if you can't find something for you in London, maybe you just lost yourself.
    2) London is one of these places, that I wanted to visit from my childhood. Firstly, I would like to see the legendary Big Ben. Then I'd like to visit the London Eye and look at the city overhead. The next point in my way are numerous palaces of British monarchy. Also I wouldn't be against for walking through the Royal parks, especially the Hide park. And in the end when I explore all cultural legacy I will go to the shops and buy lots of souvenirs. And in this way my adventure will finish.

  14. 1/ I think he wants to say that London is the calital of Great Britain and the best city on earth with everything one can dream of, so losing interest to London is equal to losing interest to everything in this world.
2/ Yes,i dare for visiting this incredible city with fabulous old building, castles residences and so on. Also i'd do some shopping, sightseeing, visit museums and operas, listen to classical orchestras and go to another palace. I almost forgot about one more monarchy-related thing there- royal park, which is without a doubt the best park in the world as the city is.
